NTR Planning secured planning permission on behalf of Cathedral Group (now U+I) for an innovative, mixed use development scheme in Canning Town. The scheme consists of 2,637 sq.m of employment floorspace at ground floor level, with 336 residential flats above. The employment strategy centres upon a new ‘creative industries hub’ for the Docklands, forming a focus for generating light industrial activity on site. The scheme, designed by Studio Egret West, placed strong emphasis on high quality design to help support the case for tall buildings.
