Proposed Development:

In April 2014 Canterbury Christ Church University successfully acquired the adjoining former Canterbury Prison as a means to create a consolidated University Campus site. Many of the original 19th Century prison buildings are listed. NTR Planning advised the University on the overall planning strategy and masterplan approach.
