Proposed Development:

Planning permission was achieved at Committee in 2016 for the redevelopment of part of the existing School buildings including a three-storey classroom building/extension comprising 20 classrooms and sixth form centre and single storey replacement medical block with associated landscaping and hard surfacing.

A separate planning permission was also achieved a few days later for a detailed temporary decant strategy to accommodate temporary classrooms on the School playing fields (metropolitan Open Land). The main planning considerations included highways impacts, the impacts on residential amenity (mainly associated with the temporary decant strategy) and the impacts upon the nearby listed buildings.
