Proposed Development:

NTR Planning has supported Canada Life in respect of promoting Filton Retail Park for a number of years.  This has included making representations as part of the local plan process that led to the retail park receiving a formal District Centre allocation.  More recently, NTR Planning acted for Canada Life to obtain planning permission for the redevelopment of part of the retail park (the former B&Q garden centre) for the provision of a PBSA scheme for the University of the West of England, ranging in height from five to nine storeys. 

The scheme will deliver a range of public realm improvements and provide 330 bed spaces.  NTR Planning were involved throughout the process, including engagement with the local community, Design West (DRP) and with students studying architecture at the University.
