Proposed Development:

NTR Planning secured planning permission for a major mixed-use urban regeneration scheme on behalf of joint applicants U+I and the University of Brighton. This complex EIA scheme, designed by Studio Egret West and HASSELL Architects, will establish a brand new state-of-the-art facility for the University as well as delivering significant social and economic regeneration, acting as a catalyst for change within the Moulsecoomb area of Brighton. The development principally consists of 1,338 student bed spaces, 369 residential units, a new academic and Business School for the University, a multi-storey car park and a ‘Central Research Laboratory’ to foster the development of employment opportunities within the City through start-up and creative companies.
