Proposed Development:

RVR is a heritage charity with the primary objective of restoring the former branch line railway between Robertsbridge and Bodiam, East Sussex, as a tourist attraction for the running of heritage railway locomotives. RVR achieved planning permission in 2017 but were unable to implement the permission due to an ongoing Transport and Works Act inquiry. Working closely with the charity and Local Authority Planning Officers, NTR Planning secured a s.73 amendment to allow the pre-commencement planning conditions to be phased, thereby allowing RVR to implement the permission on the part of the land within their ownership and saving the permission in perpetuity. NTR Planning is currently working with RVR to discharge phase 2 pre-commencement planning conditions.
